Delete your Ren account

Ren is an AI assistant app made by 1088 Labs LLC (ren.1088labs.com and the Ren Android app). This page explains how to delete your Ren account and the data stored with it, with or without the app.

Delete in the app

1. Open Ren and sign in.
2. Go to Settings (on a phone: More, then Settings).
3. Under Account, tap Delete account.
4. Enter your password (accounts created with Google sign-in skip this), type DELETE, and tap Delete my account.

The deletion happens right away. The app signs you out and shows a goodbye screen.

Delete by email

If you can't sign in or no longer have the app, email info@1088labs.com from the email address on your Ren account, with the subject "Delete my Ren account". If your account has no email address, tell us its account name. We reply to confirm, and we delete the account within 30 days of your request.

What is deleted

• Your account: email address, name, password hash, and every signed-in session.
• Your conversations with Ren, including the working copies the AI uses to continue a conversation.
• Everything you created or synced: tasks, calendar events, reminders, notes, journal, health and money logs, people, screen time and website time, and reports you sent about Ren's replies.
• Files you uploaded, and any sign-in details you saved for connected accounts.
• Your account number on our usage counts (which features were used and when). The counts stay without it.
• Any paid plan: deleting your account also cancels an active subscription, so you are not billed again.

What is kept

• Security and service logs: sign-ins, the deletion itself and other server events, with the IP address, account name and time. Kept for up to 90 days to keep the service running and protect it from abuse, then deleted.
• Copies held by our AI provider: Ren's replies come from Anthropic, which keeps what Ren sent it under its own terms. Deleting your Ren account does not delete those copies (Privacy Policy section 4).
• Records the law requires us to keep, if any.

When

Deleting in the app removes the items under "What is deleted" from Ren's servers immediately. Anything else we hold about your account is deleted within 30 days of your request, except what is listed under "What is kept". Section 8 of the Privacy Policy has the details.

Data kept on your phone by the Ren app (for example website history, kept there for 14 days) is removed when you uninstall the app or clear its storage. Deleting your Ren account does not delete accounts you connected, such as Google or Whoop: to remove Ren's access there, use that service's own settings (for Google, the third-party connections page of your Google Account).

Delete some data and keep the account

You can ask Ren in the app to delete specific items (a note, a log, a connected account). Website time can be turned off in the Ren app's Phone settings, with the option to delete its history.
